The ALGAE CONTAINER is a 40-foot (12 m) container delivered ready for use for microalgae cultivation, in laboratories or aquaculture.
Designed to be functional, robust and adaptable, it includes:
- Anti-corrosion materials and non-slip flooring
- Complete electrical package: lighting, wall sockets, water heater (sink option)
- Insulated and air-conditioned container, usable in all climates
- Side access for equipment installation
- Service door with porthole for staff access
The internal layout can also be adapted to your needs, with:
- Work tables and sink
- Curtain partitions for work areas
- NANO, LUCY and up to 4 JUMBO photobioreactors

The ALGAE CONTAINER can integrate several NANO, LUCY and even JUMBO units.
Designed to be an autonomous production room, it can accommodate up to 4 JUMBO units to automate the cultivation of 4 different strains, for example!
What maintenance is required on the ALGAE CONTAINER?
Maintenance is minimal in the culture room. The materials are durable and waterproof, and the floor has drainage outlets so it can be thoroughly cleaned with water if necessary!
What equipment can be installed inside?
In addition to photobioreactors, you can also install all the equipment necessary for your cultivation or process objectives.
This can range from laboratory equipment for industry to aquaculture tanks. We can also adapt and equip the room with LED that can be controlled in terms of intensity and photoperiod if animals or cultures are sensitive to certain conditions.
