Following the installation of two containers dedicated to microalgae cultivation – the JUMBO and NANO – the Stella Mare Platform – Università di Corsica/CNRS is now equipping itself with a new container for aquaculture experiments!

The advantages of using containers in aquaculture are undeniable:

• Easy to install on site
• Suitable for the aquaculture environment (corrosion-resistant, watertight floor, insulated and temperature-controlled container, with suitable systems, etc.)
• Safe for experiments and users

This container is also equipped with a filtration system and controllable LED lighting, ideal for fish farming!
